I would like to thank PUC-Rio University and the entire faculty of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism for being part of my training. In particular, to Professor Lígia Saramago, who introduced me to aesthetics in such a didactic and charming way, serving as an impetus for me to see the world and architecture from another perspective - her classes on aesthetics and space and thought were the seed for this Course Completion Work.

To my advisor, Otavio Leonidio - I could not have chosen a professor who understood my questions better and who had given me so much freedom during the process of building my TCC. Without your promptings and incredible reading suggestions, I would not have been able to delve into the universe that this subject encompasses, your support and motivation were fundamental to my persistence.

To Professor Lais Bronstein, whom I have always admired, since I served as her monitor, for having shown interest and respect in my work and, giving her honest and thorough opinion, so that I sought excellence. To the architect Manuela Müller, for having accepted to be part of my firm and for having delved into the details of my TCC - all her observations were very relevant in this final process.

To my friends, from the architecture faculty and in life, my affectionate thanks - I could not mention them all here. Throughout these years of college, there were tireless cries and outbursts, but also several victories that we celebrated together and, for sure, we will continue to celebrate. Thank you for always motivating me and for your patience in this last year, listening to tireless “I can't, I'm doing cbt”. (The most awaited moment for all of you has arrived: officially back guys!)

I would like to thank my family, especially my mother Rosângela Nucara and my father, Ricardo Mello, for their unconditional love and for being one of the smartest and most hardworking people I know - without your support and example, I'm sure that I wouldn't be here, I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunities they've given me in these 25 years.

And, I could not fail to thank my stepmother, Jane Helena Pinheiro and my stepfather, Rafael Jaén Williamson, for having welcomed me and taught me so much over the years, for having been a support and a mirror, both professionally and in character. . To my sister and pet Caru, my faithful companion for countless late nights - without her, I wouldn't have been able to handle my anxiety in this last year of pandemic and TCC (this thanks is very serious!). Also to my three human brothers, Ricardo Nucara, Rafael Mello and Rodrigo Mello, for providing me with an environment of sharing and exaltation of dissent, without you this work would not make any sense (a little cutie in the middle of the thanks).

Finally, I would like to thank, in memory of my late stepfather, Oscar Andriolo, better known as “Uncle Oscar”, for having been my second father for many years and, despite not having come to know it, he was the architect I looked up to. to decide to pursue this profession. Also in memory of my late grandmother, Assunta Nucara, for always being one of the most present people in my life, teaching me literacy, encouraging me to study and for having shaped part of who I am today. It was them that I thought about, and still think about, whenever I don't feel capable, because in addition to being one of the people who most believed in my potential, from somewhere I wanted them to be proud.

For the support in the production of the work, my special affection to my mother, Rosângela Nucara, for having revised all the countless versions of my texts. And, to my friend and designer João Gabriel Luz, for helping me to develop the graphic art for the site and for being patient with my perfectionism.
